The Diary of Anne Frank October 15th- 18th
Ticket sales for Burgess Hill Theatre Club’s next production “The Diary of Anne Frank” have been a huge success with the Friday and Saturday shows already sold out.
“The Diary of Anne Frank” is the story of a young girl hiding from the Nazis in wartime Holland. The club’s own small theatre on Church Walk is an excellent venue for this piece and it should make for a highly charged and emotional evening. “It is an incredibly moving story to tell” says Morag Mitchell, Co-Director of the play “and it is very relevant to people today, especially in view of the fact that many key stage 2 level children are studying World War II within their curriculum learning at school.”
The Directors had already foreseen the demand for the play and the Club planned in an extra production for the Wednesday evening. “We thought schools, in particular would find the play relevant and added an extra evening to accommodate the demand.” explains Pippa Jones, Drama Advisor for the Club and Co-Director of the play.

Box Office will be open at The Theatre on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Saturday 27th September 10.00am - 1.00pm. Ticket Price will be £7.50.

The Club Member discount remains at £1.00 and can be claimed on memebers tickets only if ordered before Box Office opens and paid for before the performance day. When ordering tickets please let me know how many member discount tickets are included.
