But things don't quite go as planned especially as Lomov is a hypochondriac and while trying to make clear his reasons for being there, he gets into arguments with Natalia about a disputed piece of land and ends up having "palpitations" and a numb leg. Things go from bad to worse! PLAYWRIGHT: Anton Chekhov. The plays full title in Russian is 'The Marriage Proposal'. BHTC NOTES: Performed as an evening of three short plays.
