Between 1966 - 1967, the Mid Sussex Times ran a series of articles featuring interviews with some of the local amateur theatre group personalities at that time. It's not clear just how many featured BHTC members, but so far we've come across the articles involving June Colledge and in 1967, Sheila Wells and Anthony White.

In November of 1967, a fire gutted the dressing rooms and other parts of the Park Centre, leaving the club with a quandry that having already sold tickets for the January 1968 Pantomime (Mother Goose), they had nowhere to perform. Luckily the Oakmeads school headmaster was kind enough to agree for the club to perform there until in the following year, the Park Centre was re-built and regularly utilised again
