SYNOPSIS: A comedy of confusion and adultery involving a crucial telephone box! Every Friday David's wife Sarah lends their flat to her unmarried friend, Valerie, so that she can entertain her married lover, Stuart. But David doesn't know about the arrangement and Stuart believes that Valerie is married to David. So when David rebels at being dragged to another foreign film and Stuart has a fit of jealousy, it all gets dreadfully out of control!
PLAYWRIGHTS: Keith Waterhouse and Willis Hall co-wrote some of the most highly-acclaimed and successful plays of the time. "Billy Liar" and "Whistle Down the Wind" are just two of their well known plays, but they also wrote the screenplays for the TV series "Budgie"and "Worzel Gummidge"
Keith Waterhouse was born in Leeds on 6th February 1929 and continues to write as an author and columnist for the Daily Mail. Willis Hall was born on 6th April 1929 in West Yorkshire and died in 2005 aged 75.
