PRODUCTION: An Office Of Profit (or Nepotism Triumphant) (One Act - Comedy) PRODUCTION DATE: March 1974 DIRECTED BY: Nancy Forsdike STAGED: Marle Place, Burgess Hill SYNOPSIS: No synopsis available PLAYWRIGHT: Peter Preston. BHTC NOTES: This production doubled with 'The Dock Brief' as an evening of one act plays and the only review to come to light is that of an evening when the show was performed to fellow BHTC members and supporters. It's not clear whether this show was ever produced for the larger general public. Club member Sheila Wells remembers that during that show, Keith Jefferies trousers kept falling down, which had the audience in fits of laughter as he struggled to continue, however she also remembers how furious Nancy Forsdike (Director) was about this! This production was also performed by the club in 1995 |
