Better known for his prolific output of stylish thrillers and occult novels than comedies, Thyroid was first published in 1942, as part of a collection of short stories titled 'Mediterranean Nights'. BHTC NOTES: It is presumed that Graham Knight adapted this short story for a performance on just one night, in front of club members and patrons.
