Welcome to Karen’s garden. The lawns are immaculate, the paths are clear of leaves, the flowers dead-headed. Her garden may be perfect, but her life is a complicated mess. Her 18 year marriage to Rob has hit a rough patch, her daughter is dating an inappropriate young man and a teenage lodger is eating her out of house and home. This complex comedy drama is full of secrets, lies, and the usual shock announcements which we have come to expect from author, Cherry Woodhouse, who gave us The Engagement, Style, Women Without Husbands and co-wrote Contemporary Canterbury. The show was an entrant in the Brighton and Hove Drama Awards 2011.
